Looking for a job.

I was browsing through my photo albums the other day, and there were a few photos that caught my attention - ones of me and two other friends. We were all very small at the time and I had atrocious hair (some things never change). But it got me thinking, how none of us at the time knew what we profession we wanted to be in when we grew up. And now, the friend to my right is training to become a doctor, the friend on my left runs her own little jewelry business. And then there’s me: sitting around at home, practically doing nothing.

OK, so I do attend uni, and I do want to become a filmmaker, but what I’m not doing right now is earning anything to make my dreams come true. I mean thank feck for student loans, but they can only take me so far (and they need to be repaid). And so, I have decided on my next course of logical action - get a damned job already!

Now I know it sounds easy, but really it isn’t. Well, not for the likes of me who have never worked before and have no experience to put on their CV’s. And then there’s the procrastination. If you ever meet anyone who knows me, they would only agree that I am guilty of severe procrastination. (In fact, I shouldn’t even be writing this post now. I should be out hunting or a job.)

Anyway, to finish off - what I’m basically trying to say is: HIRE ME! I’m hard working and will work for anything over £100 per hour.

Thanks. Yeah I’m off today to have a look around, see what I can find. And well, if you’re worth £96 an hour, then I’m most certainly worth £100! :)

Why does it say that I posted my comment at 6:37am?

    Have fun

Who were the folks in the pics, anyone I know?

I’m sure you are worth £100, although getting any prospective employers to see that might be difficult. As for experience, you can put your work experience down, and the fact that you worked in the Library.

If you need your CV proof-reading, I don’t mind, but definitely get your arse in gear and get going.
